fishing: do bass not get scared off by odd color lures like red, yellow, green?
I guess a bass may can spot the lure better if its colored,,but seems like it wouldnt hit it since its not the color of a minnow that it naturally eats.
Color really matter that much?

Sometimes it means everything, at other times it means nothing. But I have found over the years that I have caught more bass on lures that was not realistically colored .Why this is, I just don't know.
