Do big game fish like pike, muskie, or walleye go for worms?
I saw a guy catch a pike with a worm. That is why I am asking.
If a fish is hungry, they will hit just about anything that crosses their path. Would worms be the "best" bait for Muskie or Pike? Probably not. You'd probably have more luck using shad imitating lures or live shad.
Walleye on the other hand will hit worms pretty consistently. Hooking them on a jig head or even a spinner type of lure will be productive more times than not.
