Will a door mat with a latex non-slip backing cause discoloration of a laminate floor that it's placed on?
I just put down a new laminate floor in my office and want to put a door mat at the entrance for people to wipe their feet on, especially needed when it rains. The guy who put down the floor told me that rubber will cause discoloration of the laminate; but pretty much every mat that I've looked at has a rubber, non-slip backing. Any ideas?
you mean if you put a latex non-slip backing door mat on top of a laminate floor, will the laminate floor lose its color?
i'm not sure.
