I was diagnosed with neuropathy..what can i expect?
I went in when my back started hurting all the time, and I was having mini-seizures, numbness in weird places for a long time. Now, it's in my feet (top between metatarsals) and i've never EVER had pain like this. So far cortazone shots have not helped, nor have mega doses of Lyrica (except for the seizures and numbness...now i feel a burning where numbness was).
If you've had neuropathy, or are close to someone who has had it, tell me what i can expect. will i lose ability to walk? how fast does it progress. the webmd sites are SO impersonal and cold. please let me know. thanks.
well ther is nothing that is going to ease the pain much sorry
expect it to get worse i do not mean to be so cold as my aunt has it bad .
expect the feelings in the hands and feet to leave and constent pain [the seizer was due to majar pain ] the feet usaly first and hands and all the rest will follow as the nearves die the pain will increase this will also affect your mind as the lack of sleep will increase and you will be ill and intollerable to be around . most comit suicide as they can not take the pain and you may loose nerve control as well [you may cut yourself and not know it so be carfull andmost sever cases loo[armes and lege ]
