14 weeks pregnant and bumped into bag holder at store?
So I accidentally bumped into the metal rack and it hit my stomach just under the belly button. It hurt bad at first but then stopped and I haven't had cramps or any bleeding since. It wasn't a hard hit either but just wanted to get advice if I should call my doctor in the morning?
This is what my doctor told me: For the first half of pregnancy, if you hit your stomach/fall and it doesn't land you in the hospital, chances are your baby is okay. When it gets to the point where your stomach is sticking considerably out or you can feel baby and notice changes in his/her movement, then it's possible you did something, but until then, if you're really worried speaking to your doctor to ease your mind can't hurt anything but you and baby are probably okay. Just watch out for those metal racks next time! =P
