How can I prevent my telescopic sights from slipping?
I have fitted it onto my 1000fps air rifle, and tightened as much as possible, but after a couple shots it the sights keep sliding a couple centimetres towards me
Try a little loctite on the threads. If the scope moves inside of the rings when fully tightened you can wrap a small piece of scotch tape on the scope under where the rings will be to prevent slippage. The tape acts like a shim but will compress some when the rings are tightened.
