striper and bluefish help?
i was wondering tomorrow im going to go catch my own mullet down in the harbor with a cast net and they say right now their are big and small mullet but they say just use small ones is chunking bigger mullet still good for blues nad stripers?
No, you would want to def use "Finger Mullet", (Mullet about 4-5" long). Mullet over 8" long become difficult to hook correctly, (unless you use a trailer treble hook rig).
HOWEVER, you could use larger mullet and make "strip baits" out of them and put them on a 1/2-1 OZ Jig.
Mullet strips on a Jig duplicates a live fish well.
