Well, it depends on your bait because you see if you have a big bait fish then a bigger fish would hit it although you usually try to catch a big striper but commonly are only caught about 35 lb or less. Bluefish probably the same but if you hook onto a goliath mouth grouper, good luck. If redfish means red drum then I know a little bit about them they grow to 40 lb so on average about
10 to 30 pounds, so your probably safe. Although I don't really know what a fluke or a surf perch is but if I did I would tell you.
