Golden Rod is also known as Rag Weed, and is a major allergen.
Regardless of whether it's the same plant or two different plants, it is a pollenating plant that is also known as a weed. As I am severly allergic to ALL pollenating plants it doesn't make much difference to me if you wanted to call it "Sunshine On A Stem".
they are both 2 different plants in Canada they are covered under the "noxious weed act"and yes it would be considered illegal to grow the plants
