What bait-casting reel should I expect?
Im 16 and i fish a lot. I try to update my reel by Shimano a spool of heavy spinning rod for my St. CRIOX. I'm looking at two reels Shimano Curado Shimano SITIC E and E. I want to stick with Shimano because its been a great reel for 3 years. That one of those that I should get or if there are other good Baitcasting reels Thank you recommend
You have already decided two coils super! And you have a number of good answers. I vote for the Curado E (I have a Curado couple), but I understand that you're on a budget and not may not need such an expensive reel. Simply put, Citic is nice, but if you want something a little nicer to get the Curado. Both are solid coils. Here's another option: Go to eBay and buy a used one. I bought coils used on EBay (if your attention and you can buy from a reputable dealer) and got great deals on reels and rods that are barley used or "used" in name only. Last year I had a little used Curado for $ 80! If you look carefully and to read long enough, you can find AMAZING deals on EBay. Many weekend warriors (on a budget, without a bunch of sponsors) to use Craigslist and eBay to buy inexpensive gear upscale. Hope this is aid? Good fishing!
