bleeding questions?
My female tiel just broke a blood feather.. but this has happened before with my other tiel so i already knew what to do.
she's fine now.
my question is...
which is best for bleeding: cornstarch or baking soda?? what do they do?? do they soak up moisture.. or somehow plug up the wound..??
how do you keep your bird from moving around and trying to use her wings when she's supposed to be resting???
Hi,
I would use Cornflour/cornstarch. It acts as a clotting agent on small wounds.
If you want to stop a bird moving, cut the toe end from a clean sock, and place it over the bird.
