Do fish spit hooks out after you lose them?
so today, i lost my rapala shad rap ：（ it was sad, a huge largemouth bass took it, rt when i was about to take it up, it broke my line and took the rapala with it. I'm wondering, now that i lost it and it's got the rapala in its mouth, is it doomed so that that will be stuck their forever, or will he rid that from his mouth and be able to stay alive?
he will be fine. on most lures they are hooked in the mouth and they are quite capable of shaking it loose. keep an eye on the shoreline and you will probably find it floating there.
bass all the time throw lures after being hooked. one almost got me in the face thursday when he spit my popper back at me.
missed me by "this much".
