Fishing a spillway.?
There is a spillway close to where i live and when it is flowing real well the fish are in abundance. On a good day i catch between 5-10 snook and an occasional bass (they fall from the fresh water to the brackish water just so there is no confusion) anyway the spillway is dead, i mean the water is down to a small trickle. The fish are there (tarpon,snook,jack,bass) I tried the lures i usually use when its flowing and nothing. I tried rootbeer DOA terroreyez, storm baits,jigs,yo-zuri silver minnows,bomber crank baits,soft baits, i have tried jst about everything and still cant even get teh bugs to bite. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Have you tried a Strike King lure called "Redfish Magic". It's a spinnerbait that might have the vibration and flash these fish need to find your lure.
Of course any self respecting fish would hit this bait.
